How much space does the duo need?

Approximately 2m x 2m for the perfect layout.

Which areas do you cover?

We are based in London, however we are happy to travel anywhere, UK or abroad. There will be a small fee to cover travel costs if the venue is over 15 miles from postcode UB5.

Do you have specific requirements to perform on the day?

Yes. We need two armless chairs and enough space to play. We will provide the music stands and music pads ourselves. We also require non-alcohol refreshments for the duration.

Do you play outside?

We often play outside, if the weather conditions are good. However, on very bright days, we will need a shaded area to protect our instruments from direct sunlight. If it is windy, we will try to be as flexible as possible in rearranging the music in our stands. We regret not being able to play outside if it is raining, even when shelter is provided.

Do you take a break at all?

We usually break for 5 to 10 minutes after every hour of music.

What time do you arrive at the venue on the date of the event?

We will typically arrive 40 minutes before the time we are due to start, to ensure we have time to set up, tune and get ready to play.

What happens if our event runs late or overruns?

We understand that every event is unique and in the case of weddings, they tend to overrun! We are normally happy to play for a maximum of 15 minutes for free in these cases (eg. bride arriving late to the venue, the speaker coming late, dinner overrunning, etc), and always subject to our own personal commitments. However, if it runs for longer we will have to charge a fee depending on the time. If you are unsure of how long the event will go on for, let us know and we will work with you to give you the best solution.

What happens if you are already booked for the date?

It is not the first time we have been required for more than one occasion on a particular day. We will let you know whether it is possible for us to commit to your event, and if we cannot, we can suggest to you other top-quality ensembles we have worked with in the past.

What do you wear?

We are happy to tailor our dress code to best suit your event. Please let us know of any special requirements. Otherwise we will wear smart suits and dresses, typically black.

Can I choose the music?

Yes! We will work with you in choosing the music for the event that you are booking us for.

How do we book you?

Simply get in touch! You can make an enquiry for the date via our contact form, email or telephone. Please include as many details of the event as possible. This will enable us to give you a tailored quote for your event. We will get back to you as soon as possible. If you decide to have us play, we will inform you of how to proceed with the booking.
